The Watts Home for Youth, is a transitional residence designed to empower young people with essential life skills, preparing them for a successful and independent future.
Through our comprehensive curriculum, residents gain practical tools to navigate daily life, including vocational and educational training, financial literacy, budgeting, problem-solving, time management, and transportation skills. Our approach ensures each individual is methodically reintegrated into society, equipped with the skills necessary to thrive.
In addition to life skills, the program includes therapeutic support to foster mental well-being. Our services offer tools for managing emotions, including anger management and emotional intelligence, as well as therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), all designed to support each client’s mental health baseline.
